Cristina Viti’s translations include Mariapia Veladiano’s A Life Apart (MacLehose Press 2013), runner-up for the 2015 John Florio Prize; Selected Works Of Dino Campana (Survivors’ Press 2006); Stephen Watts’s Gramsci & Caruso (Mille Gru 2014); Ziba Karbassi’s Poesie (Mille Gru 2010); and Dome Bùlfaro’s Bonesflesh

m>(Le voci della luna 2012). Her poetry and translations of poets have been published in Modern Poetry In Translation, Agenda, Asymptote, and The White Review, among others. Her recent translations include excerpts from Carlo Emilio Gadda’s War & Prison Journals for the anthology No Man’s Land (Serpent’s Tail 2014), a collection by foremost Albanian poet Gëzim Hajdari (Stigmata, Shearsman Books 2016), and the first full English translation of Elsa Morante’s Il mondo salvato dai ragazzini (The World Saved By Kids, forthcoming from Seagull Books).
