Maxence Emery is a multifaceted author. A globetrotter and photographer, he photographed homeless people for Maximilien Le Roy's book Hosni. He met Alejandro González Raga in Madrid through Reporters Without Borders and decided to tell his powerful story of Cuba as a comic book, illustrated by Thomas Humeau.
