Rachel Morgenstern-Clarren is a Cleveland-born, Montreal-based poet and Portuguese-English translator. Her honors include a Fulbright Fellowship to Brazil, a Hopwood Award, an Academy of American Poets Prize, the Page Davidson Clayton Award for Emerging Poets, and residencies from the Vermont Studio Center and the Banff International Literary Translation Centre. Her original poetry and translations appear/are forthcoming in journals including
Best New Poets, Narrative, Guernica, The Common, Painted Bride Quarterly, and Asymptote. She holds an MFA in Poetry and Literary Translation from Columbia University.
