A 2010 recipient of a Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation, Christopher Shannon's poetry has appeared in Poetry, Mid-American Review, Denver Quarterly, and 32 Poems, among other publications. He has reviewed for the National Book Foundation Poetry blog, as well as the Germanic Review. He is a founding editor of the text-message poetry journal Cellpoems, which received an Innovations in Reading Prize from the National Book Foundation in 2010.
