Adam Cullen (1986) is a poet and translator of Estonian prose, poetry, theater, and children's literature into English. He has translated works by a broad range of authors including Tõnu Õnnepalu, Paavo Matsin, Kai Aareleid, and Piret Raud, and has twice been nominated for the Cultural Endowment of Estonia’s annual award for translated literature. Cullen was selected in 2019 to receive a three-year Estonian state-sponsored writer's salary. Originally from Minnesota, he has lived in Estonia since 2007.
