Alba Cid is a Galician poet and researcher. Her poetry collection Atlas was published in 2019 by Editorial Galaxia. She directs the John Rutherford Centre for Galician Studies at the University of Oxford and divides her time between Oxford, England, and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Until recently, she wrote a monthly column called “Cabinet of Curiosities” for the magazine Tempos Novos, and she is a frequent reviewer of contemporary Galician poetry both in journals and in monthly radio appearances. Her work has appeared in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, and she has been published by Words Without Borders, the Action Books blog, The Offing (tr. Megan Berkobien), and Asymptote, with more forthcoming in Kenyon Review Online.
