Anne Born has translated many works of Danish, Swedish and Norwegian literature, including The Snake in Sydney by Michael Larsen and Vita Brevis by Jostein Gaardner. She shared the 2006 Independent Foreign Fiction Prize for her translation of Per Petterson's Out Stealing Horses.
