C. Dickson is the translator of Shams Nadir's The Astrolabe of the Sea, Mohamed Dib's Savage Night, J.M.G. Le Clézio's Round and Other Cold Hard Facts, Wandering Star, and The Prospector, Gisèle Pineau's Macadam Dreams and Chair Piment, Ann Riquier's Voices of Tibetan Women, and Laure Adler's Life in the Bordellos (1830-1930). Her prizes and awards include the ALTA Fellowship and scholarships to the Collège International des Traducterus Littéraires. She lived for five years in West Africa and now lives in France.
