Charlotte Whittle is a writer, editor, and translator from Spanish. Her essays and translations have appeared and are forthcoming in MantisThe Literary ReviewGuernicaBookslutReading in TranslationElectric Literature, the Los Angeles Times, the Northwest Review of Books, and elsewhere. Her translation of Uruguayan poet Silvia Goldman’s No-one Rises Indifferent to Sorrow was published in 2016, and she is currently translating novels by Norah Lange and Gustavo Espinosa. She is also an editor at Cardboard House Press, a bilingual nonprofit publisher specializing in Spanish and Latin American poetry.
