Donatella Melucci

Donatella Melucci was born and raised in Italy. She holds a doctorate in rhetoric/composition and linguistics and she is an associate teaching professor at Georgetown University. Her fields of specialty are syntax and methodologies for teaching Italian as a second/foreign language. She is the coauthor of Da Capo (seventh edition, Cengage Learning), a language textbook for intermediate Italian; and Piazza: Luogo di incontri (Cengage Learning), a language textbook for beginner/intermediate Italian. Her translations from Italian to English include Giacomo Todeschini’s Franciscan Wealth—From Voluntary Poverty to Market Society (Franciscan Institute Publications, 2007) and Francesca Cassani’s Keep Calm and Enjoy Milan (Newton Compton Editori, 2015).
