Dustin Benner

Dustin Benner was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, in 1981.  He moved to Antwerp, Belgium in 2001, where he attended the Center for Language and Speech and took courses in the Dutch language for one year. He then attended the Higher Institute for Translators and Interpreters in Antwerp, Belgium from 2002 to 2006, where he received a Master's Degree in translation for the languages Dutch, English, Italian, and Chinese. Upon graduation, he spent two years teaching English at Benton High School in Saint Joseph, Missouri. He is currently at Jiaotong University in Xi'an, China brushing up on his Chinese by taking language courses. His interests/hobbies include grammar, language learning, science fiction literature, and computer science. He is constantly learning languages on his own, some of which include Hebrew, Irish Gaelic, Spanish, and Yiddish.
