Erik Skuggevik

Deborah Dawkin and Erik Skuggevik have worked as a team on a variety of literary translations and dramatized works, including the poetry of Inger Hagerup for performances in London (1995), and most recently Fatso, a novel by Lars Ramslie. Deborah Dawkin (London, 1961), trained as an actress, and worked in theater for ten years. As well as working as a director and teacher, she has written creatively and dramatized for the stage. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Social and Cultural History. Erik Skuggevik (Oslo, 1966) lectures in Translation Studies for B.A. and M.A. students at the Universities of Surrey and Westminster. He also works regularly subtitling films. He is currently working on his PhD in Translation and Culture.
