Ester Roxberg was born in Zimbabwe in 1987, grew up in Småland, and now lives in Malmö, where she works as an author and writer. Her debut novel, Antiloper (Antelopes), was published in 2011. Her Min pappa Ann-Christine (My Dad, Ann-Christine; 2014) tells the story of her fifty-eight-year-old father’s decision to live as a woman. It was nominated for the Book of the Year prize at the 2015 QX Gaygala.
