The film was released in 2016 and won the Best Performance Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and a BAFTA Cymru award for Best Director. She created and wrote the television drama Parch (S4C 2015–18) and is co-director of Ffilmiau Ffolyn, a film production company she founded with multiple award-winning director Euros Lyn. She is currently developing many TV, film, and theater projects in the UK and internationally, as well as writing the new series of the award-winning thriller 35 Awr (35 Hours) for the national Welsh-language TV broadcaster S4C.
