Jason Weiss has translated Luisa Futoransky's The Duration of the Voyage: selected poems (Junction, 1997) and Marcel Cohen's stories, Mirrors (Green Integer, 1998). His most recent book is The Lights of Home: A Century of Latin American Writers in Paris (Routledge, 2003). He is editor of the forthcoming book, Steve Lacy: Conversations (Duke University Press, 2006), selected interviews and other documents of the late soprano saxophonist and jazz composer.
