Josephine von Zitzewitz

Josephine von Zitzewitz is a scholar of Russian literature and translator specializing in Russian poetry. After working at the Universities of Oxford, Bristol, and Cambridge (UK) she is presently Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow at UIT The Arctic University of Norway, where she studies the phenomenon of contemporary Russian poetry on the internet. Recent translations have appeared in The Notre Dame ReviewModern Poetry in Translation (UK), Dreamcatcher (UK) and the award-winning bilingual anthology 100 Poems about Moscow (2017) and Words without Borders.
