Marco Truzzi was born in 1975 in Correggio, Italy. His debut novel, Non ci sono pesci rossi nelle pozzanghere (Goldfish Don't Live In Puddles) (Instar), was awarded the Rhegium Julii Prize, the Fortunato Seminara Prize, and the Bagutta Prize for Best Debut Novel in 2012.
