Matthias Picard

Matthias Picard was born in Reims, the capital of Champagne, and graduated from the School of Fine Art in Strasbourg. He was a member of a collective called Troglodyte and worked at the fanzine Escquillettes. Sections of his graphic novel, Jeanine, about his neighbor in Strasbourg, appeared in the magazine Lapin. The book was published by L’Association in May 2011. He is also the author of La Comète. His new book Jim Curious: A Voyage to the Heart of the Sea in 3-D Vision will be published in 2014 by Abrams. He lives and works in Paris, France.
