Mélanie Leclerc was born in 1977 and lives with her family in the vicinity of Montreal (Quebec, Canada). A graduate of the Université Québec à Montréal, she is now a cultural and artistic mediator who engages with her community both in the public library where she works and in nearby schools, where she animates visual arts workshops for children. Whether through drawings or photography, cinema or books, Mélanie has always loved telling stories with pictures. Contacts was first self-published (winner of the Bédélys Indépendant award in 2018) and has since been published by Éditions Mécanique Générale.
