Nashwa Gowanlock

Nashwa Gowanlock is a UK­-based journalist and translator. She holds an MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and was awarded a 2014 mentorship in the British Centre for Literary Translation (BCLT) Emerging Translator mentoring scheme. Her translations of the poems of Mohammed Bennis appeared in Asymptote and online journal Poetry Miscellany and she has translated numerous works of Arabic fiction and nonfiction.
