Salwa Benaissa is a freelance writer based between Prague and Berlin. Born in Morocco, she spent her childhood in the United States and later studied in the UK, earning an MA in cultural policy and management from City, University of London in 2014. She also runs Project Plume, an independent literary initiative that champions underrepresented women writers in translation.
