Sayed Ragab

Sayed Ragab lives in Cairo, where he is a well-known and critically acclaimed actor and storyteller in the independent theater scene. He began writing his own stories in 1998, one of which, "Rat," has been published in English and Spanish. He has also made an adaptation and translation of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream into Egyptian Arabic for a Swedish-Arab production (director, Eva Bergman) which showed in Alexandria and Sweden in the spring of 2003. He is currently at work on a screenplay based on Shooq.
