Sebnem Isiguzel

Sebnem Isuguzel was born in 1971. Her first book, entitled Hanene Ay Dogacak (Bliss Will Befall Your Household), won the prestigious Yunus Nadi Literature Award for published collections of short stories in 1993. Isiguzel's second collection of short stories, entitled Oykumu Kim Anlatacak (Who's Going to Tell My Story) appeared in 1994 and her novel Eski Dostum Kertenkele (My Old Friend the Lizard) in 1999. Neseli Kadinlar Arasinda (Among Merry Women, 2001) is composed of articles she wrote for the daily Radikal. More recently she has published two novels, Sarmasik (2002) and Çöplük (2004).
