She won the 2014 Etisalat Award for Arabic Children’s Literature in the Young Adult category, and was also shortlisted for the prize for her Thunderbird, the first title in a fantasy trilogy, the second of which is set to be released in April. In English, she is author of Ghaddar the Ghoul and Other Palestinian Stories and A Little Piece of Ground (co-written with Elizabeth Laird).. Her Wondrous Journeys in Strange Lands was published in translation in December 2020.
