Tera Fabiánová

Tera Fabiánová was born in 1930, and she is one of the most highly celebrated authors in the Czech Republic. Since the 1960s, she has published many groundbreaking poems and newspaper columns in Roma. Her work has focused on the themes of gypsy life, communion with nature and communicating with the animal world. Her stories have been produced for television, and she recently won the distinguished European Roma Literary Award.
