Tom Whalen

Tom Whalen's fiction has appeared in Agni, Chicago Review, Fiction International, The Idaho Review, The Iowa Review, Green Mountains Review, The Literary Review, Ploughshares, The Quarterly, Witness and other journals. His recent books are An Exchange of Letters (stories) and Dolls (prose poems). He's also published film and literary criticism, including several essays on Robert Walser, as well as collaborative translations of Walser's prose in Selected Stories and Masquerade and Other Stories, and co-edited with Susan Bernofsky the Robert Walser Number of The Review of Contemporary Fiction. He lives in Stuttgart, Germany.
