Yishai Sarid

Yishai Sarid was born in 1965 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He holds a law degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and has worked as a private-sector lawyer since 2002....

He is the author of five novels: The Investigation of Captain Erez; Limassol, which won France's 2011 Grand Prix de Littérature Policière and was shortlisted for the international IMPAC literary prize in Ireland; Naomi's Kindergarten, shortlisted for Israel's Sapir Literary Prize; The Third, winner of the Bernstein Literary Prize; and The Memory Monster, forthcoming in English from Restless Books in fall 2020. Sarid's work has been translated into various languages. He lives with his wife and three children in Tel Aviv.
