Zaure Batayeva (born in 1969) is a translator and writer. She holds advanced degrees from Almaty State University (Kazakhstan) and Indiana University (USA). Batayeva is writing her first collection of short stories, in Kazakh. Some of her stories have appeared on the site adebiportal.kz. Batayeva is also a frequent contributor to art and literature portals. She is currently based in Brussels, Belgium.
