PEN World Voices Festival: Evolution/Revolution Event Photos

Before our written report comes in from last night's PEN World Voices Festival event, Evolution/Revolution. Here's PEN's description of the event:

Join us to celebrate the fifth annual PEN World Voices Festival. An extraordinary group of internationally acclaimed writers will come to the stage for an unforgettable night of readings from around the globe. Writers will read in their original languages as the English text is projected on screens behind them. Don't miss the best literary voices from East and West. With Muriel Barbery, Nicole Brossard, Narcís Comadira, Jose Dalisay, Edwidge Danticat, Péter Nádas, Sergio Ramírez, Salman Rushdie, and Raja Shehadeh

I love the way PEN does the readings with authors in their original language with the translation projected behind them, so I'm really looking forward to David's forthcoming report (read Jane Ciabattari's account at the PEN Website). Here are Mary Reagan's photos:
