Spain’s Great Untranslated on Tour

We're delighted to announce the fall tour for the anthology Spain's Great Untranslated, the print edition of our March 2013 issue. The tour kicks off Monday, September 30, in Miami, then continues to Houston on October 2 and Albuquerque on October 4. In Miami, editor and translator Valerie Miles will moderate a discussion with authors Olvido García Valdés and Miquel de Palol and translator Forrest Gander. In Houston, Valerie will lead Lane Kauffmann, professor of Hispanic studies at Rice University, author Ignacio Martinez de Pisón, translator Anne McLean, and novelist and activist Tony Diaz. And lucky Albuquerque can choose from two events: a conversation between Ignacio Martínez de Pisón and Anne McLean, moderated by Professor Santiago Vaquera of the University of New Mexico, and a discussion with Ignacio Martínez de Pisón, Anne McLean, and the writer and activist Margaret Randall, moderated by Susana Rivera. For details, check the site of the sponsor, the Spain-USA Foundation.
