WWB Weekend: Dublin Literary Award Longlist

By Savannah Whiting

The longlist for the 2016 International Dublin Literary Award (formerly IMPAC Dublin) has been announced, and it’s full of outstanding work by WWB contributors! We’re especially excited to see Carmen Boullosa’s Texas: The Great Theft, translated by WWB founding editor Samantha Schnee. We ran an excerpt from the book before its publication by Dallas-based Deep Vellum Publishers in 2014. (Above, Samantha and Carmen at our tenth-anniversary gala in 2013.)

The Dublin list reflects what an international panel of libraries and librarians considers to be the best literature published in English in 2014. Here are the other very deserving nominees WWB has published.
