Gabriel Ebensperger
Gabriel Ebensperger was born in 1983 in Viña del Mar, Chile. Between 2009 and 2015 he illustrated, every two weeks, the interview section of Paula magazine, where he was, additionally, art director between 2014 and 2015. In 2015 he left his life in Santiago and he returned to his hometown, where he worked on his first book, the graphic memoir Gay Gigante, which later won him the Colibrí Medal Award for Best Graphic Novel of 2016. He published his first children's book, El libro de la tristeza (The Book of Sadness), in 2018, and is now working on a sequel to Gay Gigante: the illustrated novel Planetarium.
